21 Weeks

So I finally hit the half way mark. I am now 21 weeks. We will be having the first grandson on both sides of our family and I think that is very special. We did find out it was a boy at 19 weeks but will have our anatomy scan repeated at the end of December because he was very stubborn. This of course just means new pics for mom and dad! Yay! I'm sure Grandpa Wayne will be teaching him all he knows about building and flying planes. We even found him a possible future girlfriend within the flying club at the Windsor's Flying Club Christmas party! Papaw Childers will be a great resource for anything he wants to know about race cars! And need I even mention who will be the hunting and fishing mentor?? I guess I should start shopping for a camo carrier now because this baby will be in the woods the first moment Lee can pry him out of my arms! So needless to say, Baby Windsor has got the hook up for whatever "boy stuff" he decides to be in to. We are starting to discuss names and I hate to disappoint you all but we are going to keep it a secret when we do decide on one. You cannot pry it out of us until the baby decides he is ready to meet us. There needs to be a little surprise in something! We have also picked out our nursery furniture and are still looking at bedding. There is so much to choose from! It's a hard decision.

Lee still hasn't been able to feel the baby move but I don't think it will be long! This rascal is a mover! The bad part is...he really comes alive around 4 and 5 am. And also on my nights off, right when I'm getting ready to go to bed. That's all the update I have for now. Hope everybody has a wonderful Christmas.

2nd Trimester

I had hoped to do a blog like this from the very beginning of pregnancy but it just hasn't turned out that way. Sometimes it still doesn't seem real! Lee and I feel very blessed to be having a little one. We thought we might have some trouble getting pregnant due to certain circumstances but after a couple months of "kind of" trying but not really...BAM! It happened. That shows that you should never doubt the Lord! We are soo excited though. We are 17 1/2 weeks along. The whole thing has been a breeze for me! I almost feel guilty saying I have had no sickness or any of the other nuances that come with the first trimester. I said almost. Lee has still been pampering me and spoiling me rotten. He gives me foot and back massages all the time and he is a huge help around the house. He also cooks for me several times a week. I really did get me a good one! I'm finally starting to show a little bit. Lee took my first belly picture last night. Several areas are growing! Ha! I had been anxiously waiting finally feeling the baby move. And the other night it happened! I don't sleep at night anymore. I am usually awake sometime betwen 2 and 3 in the morning so I decided I needed a hobby or a project to work on. So I have started crocheting a blanket for the baby. So it was a typical night. Up at 3 am crocheting and watching infomercials and I felt something. At first I though I was hungry because it felt like a tummy rumble. I knew it couldn't be that though because I had eaten a large dinner. I kept feeling it and FINALLY figured out that it had to be the baby. It is the strangest and most adorable feeling in the world. That finalized it for me! This is really happening and I get a little more excited every day. I can't wait until Lee can feel it too. This week is Thanksgiving and I am thankful for so many things but this year I have to say that I am most thankful for this blessing that God has bestowed upon us!
